About Pug Pixels 🐾

A team of animal lovers, professional photographers, and certified treat-dispensers — based in Los Angeles since 2018.

Our Story

Started by a Pug.
Literally.

Pug Pixels was founded in 2018 by photographer Jamie Cordes — inspired entirely by her pug, Winston, and the realisation that no photo she'd ever taken of him did him any justice.

She quit her commercial studio job, invested in a zoom lens and a bag of bacon treats, and spent six months photographing every dog in her neighbourhood. The results were extraordinary — and word spread fast.

Today, Pug Pixels is a full creative studio with a team of three photographers, a shoot coordinator, and a roster of very enthusiastic pet models. We've photographed over 2,400 pets across Los Angeles — dogs, cats, rabbits, parrots, and one very confident iguana.

Average 400 shots — edited down to your final 15–60 favourites.

Your information is used to confirm and manage your photography session; communicate before, during, and after your session; deliver your online gallery; send our newsletter (opt-in only); and improve our services. We never sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Photography & Image Rights

Photos taken during your session are your property upon delivery. By default, Pug Pixels retains the right to use non-identifiable session images for portfolio, social media, and marketing purposes. You may opt out of this at any time by notifying us in writing. Human faces and identifiable information are never used without explicit permission.

4. Cookies

We use functional and analytical cookies to understand site usage and improve your experience. No advertising cookies are used. You may disable cookies in your browser settings.

5. CCPA Rights

California residents may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data. Contact privacy@pugpixels.com with any requests. We respond within 45 days.

6. Data Security

All data is transmitted via HTTPS. Online galleries are password-protected and accessible only to you. Gallery data is stored for 90 days after delivery and then deleted unless a care plan is active.
